Kansas City-based Boulevard Brewing Co. expanded into a new beverage category with the launch of three flavors of craft malt beverages under the brand name Quirktails.
Quirktails have a higher alcohol content, at 5.9%, and lower carbonation than Boulevard’s popular hard seltzer products sold under the Quirk brand. Hard seltzers currently account for about one-third of the beverage manufacturer’s overall sales.
The Quirktails line is made with real fruit juice. Flavors include Raspberry Lemon Drop, Mango Mandarin Marg and Pineapple Breeze. Quirktails are sold in six-packs of clear 12-ounce bottles.
“Quirktails will be available in three delicious cocktail-inspired flavors that our loyal fans can enjoy right out of the bottle,” Ali Bush, vice president of marketing at Boulevard, said in a release.
